Brown and orange with metallic inclusions

Here's one that has a nice mix of brown and orange. On the uncut side you don't see the metal flakes but on the polished side there are several. The composition of the metal flakes vary from stone to stone, to date over 20+ metal elements have been detected.

Interesting pattern in that rock and that orange is a very deep saturated striking orange color.
Did you shape and polish it yourself?

For a list of the metal elements detected in these rocks please see post below labeled, "A host of metallic elements". It's a long list so I don't want to have to type them all over again.. Grin

Ah okay thanks! I copy pasted it here for reference:  "Here's a list of all the metal elements detected thus far, Mn, Zr, Nb, Mo, As, V, Au, Ag, Pt, Ir, Pd, Rh, Ro, Fe, Mg, W, Al, Ni, Zn, Cu, Co, Cr, Si, Ca, Ti, K, P, Na, and Pb."

Sorry about the late reply Joe, yes I cut and polished this stone. I was just trying to figure out what was making these stone so magnetic and  get in a little practicing at cutting and polishing.
Thanks for pasting that list of elements over Scott, that list is just a small part of a very interesting mystery.
