Spring?

Print Post
Just left we've got 5" of fresh snow on the ground this morning. It has snowed all night. There went my bare ground for a while. Cry
I get tired of the shuffle walk. Always afraid of falling and breaking something.

Have a great day and weekend everyone. And NO! I don't/won't watch the circus call the Super Bowl.

Make that 7-8" of snow over all.
Other half started at 0730 and I got on by 0900. We finished up about a half hour ago.
Snow was light and fluffy now it's gotten heavy and damp.
All I can say melt! Go into the dirt!!!

Either we've moved to the arctic or the next ice age is starting.
8* supposedly at noon. Very refreshing outside right now.
Still a lot of snow on the ground.
No rock hunting for a long time now.

Yes, it will be nice to see Spring again. I know I'm looking forward to it!
I kind of have the mind set of an exterior paint or sealer; If it's below 50* it's best not to apply. Huh

Then again these last 3 days of cold rain ought to have washed off some rocks!   Roll Eyes

Happy Valentines! Kiss

Blooming on our back yard fence is the South Carolina state flower.

"The Yellow Jessamine was adopted by the General Assembly as the official State Flower on February 1, 1924. The Yellow
Jessamine is indigenous to every part of the State. It is a climbing woody vine with evergreen leaves and blooms small, yellow,
tubular, fragrant clusters."

Thanks, Rick. That makes a sweet privacy border.  Cool
Looks like you are 2 or 3 weeks ahead of us. I always get the Yellow Jessamine and the Carolina Jasmine mixed up, even tho one is yellow and one is white. I look it up every couple of years and am always surprised by the answer.  Huh

Well jeepers, that's kind of cold. It's going to be near 80 here today. Smiley

It was refreshing to say the least.

Watered my lettuce yesterday that I carried over this winter.
It's up and growing. It's in a small greenhouse with a frost blanket.
Planted some asparagus starts yesterday. We'll see how that goes.
Temps are warming it's the wind that is being a royal pain.
Our weather won't settle until after Easter.
