What is everyone doing?

It has been a busy spring around here.
It's been slow to warm up and usually windy afternoons.
We've replaced a fence 170ft or so long. Put in a lot more posts reused the woven wire(new wire was beyond our price) did put up new barbed wire.
Installed a new Mini Split AC/heat system a week ago or so.
Came down with some kind of crud that went right into a sinus infection.
Made a 12 hour trip to the big valley and my doctor.

Woke up to a fresh covering of snow yesterday morning with major wind.
Our high was 43*. Didn't get much done outside.
I have been watering the lawn to get some moisture into the soil so I won't be behind all summer.
Real cold this morning so far 22*. Few more weeks before I can think of even starting a garden.
Dealing with sciatic pain that I think I've finally getting it settled down with red light laser work. Now dealing with a tear in the top rotator cuff in the left shoulder. Going to try a shock wave treatment next week. If it doesn't work in a couple sessions then I know I'll be doing surgery come winter.
Busy spring so far and now wood cutting is coming on fast. Never a slow moment around here.

Good Morning, ID, Thanks for the update. Smiley
Sounds like you have been busy, but yes, Spring is a busy time of year. Of course we don't call it Spring when it snows. We call that Winter. Wink
Congratulations on the new air unit. I hope it makes things more comfortable for you.
The winds have gotten unusually strong around here too lately. But the huge yellow clouds of pollen they have been blowing around are about over. Spring has sprung. Supposed to be in the 80's this weekend. Time to start watering. The rock gardens looked good this year. The purple Ajuga ground cover is starting to get thick and I actually planted a few tomatoes this year.
And we've been hunting some real pretty rocks to get the year rolling!
Hope you and your fences mend well!

Nice looking area.
We are just greening up. Thought I found an interesting rock a little while ago. Turned out to be an old hornets nest with snow on it. Oh well.

My apricot tree is in full bloom it went to 21* this morning. Don't think I'll be getting any fruit off of it again. Gets warm to early then we cool off and then its warm a nice roller coaster effect around here. Then it'll go from nice and mild to hot!

Starting to warm up around here real fast. We're just starting to get those late afternoon showers. There's a few construction sites that could use some rain to wash off all the artifacts and rocks for us. I don't miss all the bugs and ticks and chiggers that will be coming out again, but hopefully I'll remember to bring the bug spray when the prospecting takes me in the woods. It took me 15 years to realize I need to protect my neck and ears from the sun, but after so many sunburns I've been using that hat that has the flaps that cover the ears and neck for protection.   Cool

Yes, that's a cool hat you got, Scott. I likes it. Very sheik.
And it keeps the sun off your ears while you're digging. Even way down there. Smiley
