In the previous topic, the little metallic discs with the radiating arms are not fluorescent at all. The little round thing is dark green under 365nm.

This new thing, in the light it was metallic looking, very reflective. In the picture it looks like a seed or some other plant part. Below it, just under a layer of rock is another one. Under UV these are black.

Thanks for the pictures, Rob.
I'm going to stick with Chalcedony as my guess for the round mound mainly because that spherical,botryoidal habit is so common with Chalcedony. The only other possibility I can guess is Aragonite? They both fluoresce some flavor of green.

That other thing you found is a dehydrated seed pod from a Sweet Gum tree. 100% Wink
