Dan and Rebecca,

Dan my shop is housed in a small building and houses not only my personal collection but I have rocks and minerals for sale as well, nothing but rocks and minerals. I work full-time as an estimator and project manager for a small construction company which with the economy as it is, keeps me scrambling so with that said, the "shop" is not a full time business or anything like that but I open it by appointment and I also have a gem sluice where I sell buckets of ore to the kiddie's (and adults too). Actually, there is some pretty good stuff in the ore as it came from the Spruce Pine district and has native materials as well as salted stuff. Rebecca, as far as the Rockingham Vulcan pit, I'll do my best to set up a trip into it. It is virtually unexplored but holds a great deal of promise. I'll post whatever I find out on the Vulcan pit as soon as I find out something. If not here, I hope to meet you guys sometimes. Cheers, Mike
