Yes, that's what I was thinking, green amethyst ain't ripe yet.
And just to be safe, you better keep that raw beryl in the freezer.

I'll tell you another one I figured out recently, the Drusy Craze.
Yeah, I've been hearing for the last couple years how quartz drusy is so popular now. So since I have plenty of drusy I've been putting nice pieces out at shows and what not, and no one even looks at it, and I'm wondering, so where are all the people craving this drusy?
Finally figured out that it's the dyed purple and pink and blue and green stuff that is so sought after. The natural stuff doesn't even merit a look.
