Another local rockhound wanted me to post some pics of the stuff he's been finding in the cemetery area.
He doesn't dig, just a surface collector and finds most of his in the creek or after a good rain.
The second piece pictured has awesome champagne color!
The last piece he bought from someone who has lived on the creek their whole life and found it when a kid. I hate to even mention it, because there is so little missing I hate thinking about it, but yes, the point of the 6 plus incher is just slightly broken.

So about 60 feet from where Joe found this Amethyst, I found a rutile included quartz crystal.

Awesome finds guys, that amethyst is beautiful Joe! Cant beleive how excited you were when that purple began to show.
