Poppy like Jasper?

Found this little guy in the California Saratoga Hills. I know the color isnt flashy, but the circular shapes tells me it could be a type of poppy Jasper. Any thoughts?

I agree. Nicely formed orbs. Go back and find some more and you can call it "Sun Spot Jasper". Put me down for a couple pounds! Smiley

Thanks JoeM. I've tried to look for more but this was the only one I've found. The sun spot Jasper looks a lot closer to what I have. Appreciate the help!

You know, Wailele, I came up with "Sunspot" off the top of my head, for obvious reasons, and didn't think about there already being a Sunspot jasper out there. If you ever did find the vein I think folks would prefer your Sunspot over what's out there now and wouldn't object to you using it too. Smiley
I don't find any "Sundog" jasper anywhere?
