sand dollar I think

Well, naked eye view sees the little lines radiating from the center like a sand dollar. Camera eye don't really reveal those markings. So now I'm not sure what this is, a sand dollar or just a blob.

Looks too 'bulbous' for a Sand Dollar. Maybe a little shell? Like a miniature turtle!
But the shell may not be there and it's a sedimentary chert muck blob impression of the shell? Which qualifies as a fossil, too.
Pretty little thing. What's the bottom side look like? Cheesy

I took a few other pictures outside in the sun.  I can see the lines more clearly suggesting maybe a sand dollar? I also took a pic of the underside of the rock which has some druzy.

Oh yeah, the sun does give it a whole nother look.
Doesn't look flat enough for a sand dollar. I will have to guess sea urchin. Look at some fossils of urchins. Now THAT sounds like a FUIN night! Smiley

I been chertin for an urchin...... yeah, that was bad. Bur urchin sounds good, I'll look at a few pics from whence this most likely came.
