Fossil?

Found this specimen in New Mexico. It's odd shaped. It's dark green on the inside takes a shine with holes all around it. A nail doesn't scratch it. I guessed either green jasper, a fossil, or a blood stone

No idea. You'd have to study the geology of the exact area this came from. Not a fossil, IMHO.

You might want to look up ricolite, a variety of serpentine interbanded with talc, which comes from New Mexico.
