Enjoyed mine in the picture plus others in butter as a side dish with a pork roast (04/17).  All I can say is wonderful. Smiley Smiley

I was out in a nice wet woodsy spot today, knowing it's probably a bit early yet, but hopeful and looking (and just enjoying the beautiful day!)  Didn't see any yet, but yes, soon.  Yum!

Checked out my 2 best spots today but found nothing yet.  It's still early, but you never know, they should be popping up soon!

There's no morel talk here, does that mean no one found any?

I have been out at least a couple times each week since early March, and found a big fat ZERO.  It's been such a great spring, but none of my usual morel places are producing.  Seems odd...

They came up exactly one week late in Maryland due to the long winter we experienced in the Mid-Atlantic. I found 1.5 lbs at my best spot last Friday that went into a lobster and morel risotto.

oh dang!!! those are beautiful! Enjoy!
and thanks so much for showing.
I still keep looking even though I think it is late here. We also had a very hot spell last week, but I am forever hopeful (we had long very cold winter too), so maybe just maybe on a high, cool , shady spot....
